Nearly 70 people turned out for the North Clackamas Education
Foundation’s first annual donor recognition event. Milwaukie’s
Historic Broetje House was the setting for the November 5
dinner honoring current and past donors. Several founding
board members were also in attendance.
Special commemorative marble apples were given to New
Seasons representatives Mark Feuerborn and Claudia
Knotek, along with school board member Cheryl Myers
and community leaders Ken Hoffman and Chuck Botsford.
Doctor Roger Wooley’s sponsorship of the Foundation
newsletter was also noted.
Attendees had the chance to hear Foundation updates
and goals, view a promotional video showcasing
Foundation programs and weigh in on proposed
Foundation logos.
Foundation members were excited to hear from
donors and to get the chance to honor donor commitment.
The Foundation is improving educational opportunities
for students in the North Clackamas School District
through community financial support. To make a
