North Clackamas Education Foundation (NCEF) provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors to continue their education at a college/university or accredited career school of their choosing.
NCEF will accept scholarship applications from graduating seniors who meet the following guidelines:
Applicants must submit a completed application and a completed reference form from a counselor to NCEF by April 15. You must have Microsoft Word® 97 or higher to open document.)em>
Some of our additional scholarships (listed below) may require you to complete the NCEF Scholarship Application AND submit additional or other application materials either through the Foundation or your guidance office. Please read carefully. For some scholarships eligibility is restricted to a specific high school.
In memory of Joe Krumm, former NCSD Executive Director of Community and Government Relations. The aim of this scholarship is to reduce financial barriers for students identified with specific learning and/or communication needs who also may be participants in NCSD music programs and are members of under-represented groups in post-secondary education.
The $50,000 Hill Chemistry is designed to redress the under representation of women in chemistry and the sciences and to support women students who are graduating seniors and Milwaukie High School.
The $5,000 Hill STEM Scholarships is designed to redress the under representation of women in chemistry and the sciences and to support women students who are graduating seniors and Milwaukie High School.
The Nancy Matich Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Nancy Ann Matich, a lifetime Milwaukie resident and graduate of Ardenwald Elementary School and Milwaukie High School.
The $1500 Josh Critchett Memorial Scholarship is in memory of a 17 year old who was killed in a tragic 1997 plane crash is awarded to one student based on financial need, leadership, honors and awards, activity participation and work and/or volunteer experience.
The $1000 Sabin-Schellenberg Technical Scholarship is administered through NCEF and is awarded based on financial need, college and career goals, and academic/technical merit.
