NCEF's First Emergency Housing Fundraiser Was a Success!
Last week, the North Clackamas Education Foundation asked North Clackamas community members to donate to families in need.
Specifically, NCEF asked for donations to the Emergency Housing Fund, a Wichita Family Support Center program that helps families in the North Clackamas School District with one-time rent, utility and security deposit payments.
NCEF advertised this initiative via social media, Google Ads, eblasts and a press release to local papers in Milwaukie, Happy Valley, Portland and Clackamas.
The response was swift and generous. The Clackamas Review covered the story, and donations flooded in from a range of kind people.
Thanks to your donations, as well as magnanimous gift from Chartwells, NCEF was able to give the Wichita Center for Family and Community staff & the Emergency Housing Fund $13,022 today!
To everyone who donated: thank you. NCEF is proud to be based in such a wonderful community. If you'd like to make a donation to the Emergency Housing Fund, you can do so here. Every dollar counts!
